I had a problem with my starter as silly and minor as it sounds .... I went to several places and bought 5 starters from AutoZone all the way to Napa ordered on ebay and Amazon going through putting on and taking off I don't know how many times on my 2000 21 ft Maxum ....went to these guys 1 time ...explained my issue ....they knew exactly why the other starters didn't work ....very knowledgeable folks . I just wish I would of went there sooner. I had to order the part ...They were quick getting back to me and did everything in the most professional manner. I never like spending money but, I enjoyed doing business with these guys for sure !!! I'd recommend them to all in need of a expert in the watercraft field ........to all that work here: keep doing what you're doing - it's working .......5 stars all day !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently enjoyed an all-around awesome experience purchasing a used fishing boat off their lot in St. Charles, MO. Staff couldn't have been kinder and more helpful when we needed to buy a new trailer for our boat that we were pulling thru stl on our way home to Kansas. They were quick to respond to all our questions, transfer the boat from the old trailer to new, and help us find a place to recycle the deceased trailer. Had the parts I needed and friendly

I inquired about a boat online last week, and Zeke had informed me it was under contract, no big deal for me as I was just starting to get into the market for a boat. Told him to let me know if anything changed, he texted me Tuesday morning letting me know it is still available. He was super incredible with helping me figure out the financing and what my bank needed over the phone, got the buyers order sent over, and super quick responses to any questions I had. When I went to view the boat, it was kept incredibly clean, and they took good care of making sure everything worked and functioned properly! He did tell me it would be a $500 deposit for a test drive which did stress me out some (I helped my boyfriend purchase a vehicle the day prior) and he ended up bypassing the deposit and taking me out on the water anyways which i greatly appreciated! Although I wish it was summer so I can take it out immediately, he is going to winterize the boat back for me at no charge which is AWESOME!! On our test drive we had a minor mishap with one of the hoses, which he told me today he is ordering the part and fixing the remaining issues before allowing me to take the boat, which is so appreciated so I wont have any further issues down the road. I have not picked up the boat yet, but the service Zeke and his team have provided to me so far is beyond my expectations. If you are looking for a boat, dont overlook these guys!

The 2020 boating season is long over and it just dawned on me that I should write up a review on the experience we had with St.Charles Boat & Motor. Late in the 2019 boating season my 2006 Formula 292 Fastech had a major issue with the port side 6.2 Mercruiser engine. I needed the long block replaced which means pulling the engine and swapping the fuel injection system and all the accessories to a new long block, then reinstalling the engine. We bought our 292 new in 2006, and this is our baby. I could not have been more pleased with the quality of work performed by St. Charles Boat & Motor. We dropped the boat off and in 4 days the job was completed. I keep my 292 perfect inside and out. When we picked up the boat I checked everything and there was not a smudge or a sign that any work was even done! Very impressed with how clean everything was kept and the quality of workmanship. We enjoyed a trouble free 2020 boating season. Highly recommend.

Bottom line the best service for your boat and the friendliest staff in the St. Louis area. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with the folks here. Believe it or not, I actually have had them call me and tell me that I did not need spark plugs after I had requested to have them replaced. They told me that they had checked them out and that there was no reason to replace them at this time. Not only did they knock out a quick fiberglass repair (and it looked better than new) and save my summer once, but they have always been above board and professional to deal with.
